Meeting agenda dealt exclusively with current FCC/EEO rules and regulations. Managers were briefed on company initiatives and policies in accordance with the criteria established by the FCC.

Discussions also included understanding of the importance of all items listed in the narratives and the harassment and retaliation sections of the rules and regulations.

Each manager is set to conduct a full staff meeting on the Quarnstrom Media Group policies and on the FCC/EEO rules and regulations within one week of the completion of this meeting.

Discussions were held on the importance of keeping all information in stations public files updated with regards to FCC/EEO information. In addition, those stations with web sites should display the information on those sites under the heading of Employment.

Discussions were held on the importance of keeping all “new hire” and application information on file for a minimum of two years. We need to be sure we have a record each person that applies for an open position in our company, and that the information remains on file for public inspection if so needed.

The Quarnstrom Media Group FCC/EEO Management meeting began at 9am on 10/14/04. We took a lunch break from noon to 1pm and completed our agenda at 4:00pm. All Minnesota Managers were in attendance. The meeting was conducted by QMG Vice President Don Welch. Mr. Welch is the current EEO contact executive within the company.
